Back in 1948, the world got its first look at the Land Rover Series 1, which debuted at the Amsterdam Motor Show. Now Land Rover has unveiled a special Defender 75th limited edition to mark the anniversary.
The Defender 75th limited edition is available in both the 90 and 110 versions and comes exclusively in Grasmere Green paint with matching wheels and interior trim. The exterior also gets a special 75 years graphic and Ceres Silver colored bumpers. The 75th limited edition comes standard with a folding fabric roof, the 3D Surround Camera, a Meridian audio system, an 11.4-inch infotainment system, head-up display and wireless charger.
Inside there’s Grasmere Green trim, seats that are featured in Resist Ebony and a veneer on the center console that’s made out of a Robustec material.
“Since revealing the new Defender, customers around the globe have fallen in love with it and demand remains extremely strong,” saidStuart Frith, Lifecycle Chief Engineer. “This new Limited Edition captures the spirit of the past 75 years, with its color and detailing, and fuses it with innovative new technology such as Mild Hybrid Electric power, Configurable Terrain Response, software over the air updates and unrivaled all-terrain capability.”
