The Kia Carnival officially replaced the Sedona minivan last year. Now Kia has announced the updates to the 2023 Carnival, which now has more standard features and some interesting pricing changes.
The 2023 Kia Carnival is available in the same trims: LX, EX, SX and SX Prestige. The base LX model is now $340 more than last year with pricing starting at $33,395, including destination. The EX starts at $39,435 ($340 increase) and the SX starts at $42,635 ($40 increase). What’s interesting is the top SX Prestige trim level that now starts at $47,035, which is a decrease of $560.
Kia didn’t remove any features from the SX Prestige trim level, but instead it has more standard equipment, including the eight-passenger configuration. The SX trim now comes standard with a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and blind-spot monitoring. The LX and EX trim levels carry over unchanged and the LX is still available with the LX Seat Package that adds heated front seats and eight seats.
